Odds Analyst

Responsibilities:

Key Accountability Areas:

 

 

1.Data gathering for the purpose of understanding relevant factors that are likely to affect outcome of specific match/es.

 

2.Create competitive market through timely odds adjustments based on real-time developments in relevant sports match as provided by relevant sources including sports reporters and various sportsbook websites.

 

3.Monitor betting tickets and report abnormal betting behaviour to the Supervisor.

 

Requirements:

Preferable with two (2) year vocational or college degree;

Strong numeric and analytic skills needed for odds compilation and other sports trading activities;

Keen observer with acute attention to detail to facilitate monitoring of abnormal trading behavior and unusual market movements;

Demonstrated ability to utilize internet and intranet facilities for research and benchmarking purposes;

Keen interest and knowledge of most sports;

Proficient in Microsoft applications particularly Excel;

Average level in English Language proficiency to facilitate research from different relevant sports websites;

Able to speak Mandarin/Hokkien will be an advantage.

• Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/College Degree , any field.
• Required language(s): Chinese, English
• Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
• Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
